Young people are amongst those who have been hit hardest by the economic crisis ravaging Europe.The deterioration in the situation with regard to youth unemployment has been known about for some time now. The Czech Republic is still faring quite well in this respect, compared with some European countries, but Czech youth unemployment is nevertheless hovering around the 22% mark.

The unemployment rate in Norway for young people aged 20-24 is 4, 9 %. For people aged 25-29 it is 4, 4 %. In spite of being about the double of the general unemployment rate in the country (which is currently 2, 8 %), the numbers are extremely low in a European measure. Looking into the unemployment among young disabled people show us another story. They seem to be last in line.
