The European Federation of Competencies Balance and Professional Orientation (FECBOP) met on 1st October at the FIAP Hostel in Paris, with some 50 organisations and specialists from various European countries in attendance, to discuss and plan future actions in the area of Orientation and Competency Balance.

The first lecture at the meeting, which was opened by Jean Pierre Vacher, President of the European Federation, was given by André Chauvet. Various roundtables were organised in which Belgian, German, Italian, Portuguese and French organisations presented their positions on the new paradigms and challenges of assistance and intermediary support for European professionals, adults and young people in the coming years.
