 In the occasion of this European year in the current InfoLetter, information and examples are compiled from adult education. On the EU’s part, along with other programmes, it is the European Social Fund which has as its primary intention to combat exclusion and poverty, first and foremost, through continuing education and employment promotion. However, at national level, adult education can also achieve a lot toward the support of disadvantaged persons.
