InfoNet on best list of Grundtvig projects / Presentation at EU conference | Print |
Michael Sommer   | 19.04.2011 | European Affairs - News items

InfoNet was a topic at an EU conference on the distribution of Grundtvig project results.

Project coordinator Dr Michael Sommer (Foto) presented experiences with InfoNet in the context of a journalistic report about projects at the start of the conference in Brussels before approximately 250 participants. Another subject of this conference, to which guests were invited by the European Commission, was a study (“Valorising Grundtvig”) that evaluated Grundtvig projects according to their quality. InfoNet was included in both the best list of projects and of project results as an especially successful initiative. InfoNet coordinator Michael Sommer was also invited as an expert to the concluding conference of the Action Plan on Adult Learning of the European Commission in Budapest. He represented InfoNet there in one of the workshops at the podium on the topic of increasing participation, publicity and consultation.
