The website of SVEB
SVEB FSEA Switzerland   | 26.01.2011 | National Affairs - News items [en]

The website of SVEB (Swiss Federation of Adult Learning) is also available in English.

Just in time with the modification that Switzerland becomes an adequate member in the educational programs «Lifelong Learning Program LLP» and «Youth in Action» the website of SVEB is by now also available in English. The website www.alice.ch/en/  (Adult Learning Information Center) contains around 40 pages and gives information concerning the main activities of the federation, the educational policy in Switzerland, the running projects and the international co- operations.

Due to the adequate membership Switzerland should more than ever participate in EU programs and contribute to the international development. SVEB is already committed several years to the European educational policy and is represented in various committees. Main topics of SVEB are: educational policy, promotion of basic skills, professionalization, awareness rising, vocational training, financing of continuing education and international co-operations. Thanks to the new website SVEB offers access to the Swiss educational landscape and also moves closer to Europe.
